We believe that a FREE Chicken makes the best Chicken. Allowing the chickens to engage in natural behaviors helps reduce their stress level and result in overall healthier birds!

"Foraging for Better Nutrition"

Our free range chickens have access to the outdoors and hence are able to forage naturally on insects, seeds, and plants. Studies have shown that combined with increased activity, free-range chickens generally have higher levels of omega-3 fatty acids, which helps support heart health, reduce inflammation, and benefit brain function, compared to conventionally raised chickens. Also due to their active movement, free-range chicken breasts generally have significantly less saturated fat and hence are more tender and healthier.

Semi-Enclosed Living Space

Our free range chickens are raised within a semi-enclosed poultry house, which is a combination of an enclosed poultry house and an outdoor activity space. While the enclosed poultry house provides a well-equipped and shaded environment for the chicken to grow, the outdoor space allows the chickens to roam, to forage, and to enjoy the taste of freedom. Because of the ability to roam, the chickens develop a more chewy muscle texture with lower fat content.

Free Space

As our farm takes the animal wellbeing as our very first priority, we don’t squeeze our chickens within the coop the way common commercial broiler farms do. By allowing the chickens to have enough space to breathe, our chickens are naturally healthier and hence avoid much of the common diseases.

Beside the Lake

The vast lake in our farm has well-circulating water sourced directly from the surrounding mountains. This source of clean natural water provides our chickens the ability to enjoy the daily necessities in their most natural form.

Feeding

Last but not least, we feed our chickens with well-formulated self-made feed. While this is in contradiction with being natural, feeding of commercial feed ensures the chickens have enough nutrients to grow across their lifetime. Along with their freedom to forage outdoors, this creates a balanced diet between foraged foods and high-nutrient feed.
